Learn about Arizona’s unique flora and fauna at the Buckhorn Wildlife Museum, which features more than 400 mounted and beautifully displayed native bird and animal specimens. See exhibits of authentic warplanes that dominated the skies of WWII, Korea and Vietnam at the Arizona Wing Commemorative Air Force Museum.

Immerse yourself in the earth’s ancient past at the Mesa Southwest Museum, Arizona’s premiere natural history museum. This 80,000-square-foot facility contains the largest display of dinosaur fossils in the state, an indoor three-story mountain with a 50-foot waterfall and an intermittent flash flood. Step into Mesa’s early history at Sirrine House, a fully restored, Victorian-era home built in 1896 by one of the city’s pioneers, Joel E. Sirrine. Experience the legend, history and intrigue of the rugged Superstition Mountain range at the Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum, which preserves and displays the artifacts, history and folklore of the Superstition Mountains, Apache Junction and surrounding region.
