Cactus League Spring Training in Arizona
FAQ's

  Cactus League FAQs
Early schedules are labeled "Tentative". Why? What will change?
While we try to get the most up-to-date schedule when it's first posted, games may be added or game times may change.
What does "split squad" mean?
The team is split so on those designated game days half the team plays at one stadium and the other half at a different stadium. It is not known ahead of time which players will be playing at which stadium.
When do the teams arrive in Arizona?
Pitchers and catchers report first and it's usually mid-February, followed about a week later for the rest of the players.
When do tickets go on sale?
On-sale dates are different for each team. Check the Team & Ticket Info page for more details.
Where can I buy tickets?
Most of the teams use ticket agencies:
Ticketmaster sells tickets to the Angels, Padres, and Mariners home games.
Tickets.com sells tickets to the Cubs, A's, and Giants home games.
Can I wait until I get to Arizona to buy tickets?
While there may be tickets available on game day, some games sell out well in advance. If you really want to see a certain game, purchase your tickets early.
Can I watch the teams practice?
Yes. The teams usually start practice every day between 8 and 9 a.m. Most practice sessions usually end by about 1 p.m.

All the teams have practice fields at their home stadiums with these exceptions:
Angels practice at Gene Autry Park in Mesa: McKellips Road between Val Vista and Greenfield Roads.
Cubs practice at Fitch Park in Mesa: 6th Street and Center, just south of HoHoKam Park.
Giants practice at Indian Bend Park in Scottsdale: 4415 N. Hayden Road.
A's practice at the Papago Baseball Facility in Phoenix: Galvin Parkway/64th Street and McDowell Rd.
What can I bring into the stadium?
It's different for each stadium, but generally, coolers and large bags are not allowed. Due to security measures, Major League Baseball has placed restrictions on certain items and all items are subject to search.
